James “Jim” Greer

Jim was raised in Normal, Illinois, and spent many years on the farms the family still owns.

​

Jim received his BA from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, his MD from the University of Illinois, Chicago, his MS from University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and MBA from Friends University in Wichita, KS.

After medical school and residency/fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, Jim worked in large multi-specialty clinics as staff physician, board member or CEO for many years.

His positions included CEO at Wichita Clinic in Wichita, KS, CEO of CareNet, in Columbus OH and Medical Director at Ochsner Clinic Foundation and Hospitals, Baton Rouge, LA.

He has served on not-for-profit community boards, has experience managing HMO’s and is double board certified.
