
Jerry Boisseau
Trustee
Jerry Boisseau was born and raised in Plattsburgh, New York, and built an impressive academic foundation that would support a lifetime of leadership and service. He earned an undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, followed by a master’s degree in education from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts and an MBA from Western New England College in Springfield. He married his wife, Linda Cummings, in 1961, beginning a partnership that supported his wide‑ranging professional and community endeavors.

Jerry served his country with distinction, retiring from the U.S. Army in 1981. He then transitioned into the financial sector, beginning as a stockbroker with Bache, Halsey, Stuart & Shields in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1986, he completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program, further strengthening his expertise. After moving to New Jersey in 1987, he managed the family business for several years before founding his own financial planning and asset management firm in Toms River in 1991. He led the firm for 25 successful years before selling it in 2016 and retiring in 2017.

Throughout his career, Jerry remained deeply committed to community service, contributing his time and leadership to numerous boards of directors, including hospital and YMCA boards, among others. In 2024, he and Linda moved to Bentley Village, where he continues to bring his experience, insight, and spirit of service to his community.
